Identity verification
Onboarding includes a passport check
AvioNexus holds passports, itineraries, and travel documents for people who fly privately for a reason. So before anyone gets access to it, including on a trial, we confirm they are who they say they are. That applies to every user, not just the person who opens the account.
Verification runs through Persona, an independent identity verification provider. During onboarding you are handed to Persona's secure flow, where you photograph the photo page of your passport and take a short selfie so it can be matched to the document. Each person does it once, and it is the only step between them and the platform.

- A work email address on your organisation's domain
Most people finish verification in under five minutes and are inside the platform the same day. Colleagues you invite verify the same way.
Trial questions, answered
- Do we need to enter card details to start?
- No. AvioNexus does not take card payments at all, so there is nothing to enter at sign-up and nothing to cancel later.
- Who has to complete the passport check?
- Everyone. The person who opens the organisation account verifies, and so does every colleague they invite afterwards. Nobody reaches passenger data without it.
- Why a passport rather than another form of ID?
- Passports carry a machine-readable zone and are recognised consistently across borders, which makes them the reliable choice for an industry that operates internationally by default.
- What happens to my passport image?
- Persona runs the capture and the verification checks. Your document is then held encrypted, under the same controls we apply to the passenger documents you keep in the platform.
- Can we use real passenger data during the trial?
- Yes. A trial organisation runs on the same encryption, access controls, retention settings, and audit logging as a paid one, so you can evaluate it against real work.
- What happens at the end of the 30 days?
- We will talk with you before day 30 about which package fits. If you decide not to continue, your trial organisation is closed and its data removed.
